This industrial gem, commissioned in 1951 after four years of work, is 79 m high and 300 m long at the crest and required 350,000 m3 of concrete for its construction.

With its 31 km long reservoir (which contains the equivalent of 75,000 Olympic swimming pools) and its 3 ""Francis"" type turbines of 50 tons each, the dam has an annual production equivalent to the residential consumption of 186,000 inhabitants.

Two belvederes offer you an unobstructed view of this work of art surrounded by greenery.
