Unique Exhibition:

""Traces of Migrants"" – An exhibition to experience at Espace Odyssélec: When the history of migrations meets that of the Chastang Dam

What if the lake that surrounds you today was also a witness to the journeys of yesterday and today?

In Haute-Corrèze, between the hills and the waters of the Chastang Dam , every stone, every wave, every face tells a human story. "Traces of Migrants" is an exhibition that invites you to discover how population movements have shaped this territory, from its villages to the banks of the Dordogne .

From the 18th century to the present day , follow in the footsteps of Corrèze stonemasons, quarrymen, laundresses, but also Spaniards, Italians, Turks and many others who crossed borders to settle here. Their history is also the history of our region, its landscapes, and its soul.

Why come?

  • Workshops for everyone: migrant cuisine, guided walks along the Dordogne, or meetings with local historians.
